Sunday 6th - Fathers Day and the last day of the trip

Last day of the 6 week Cape York Adventure Before Dementure 2015 Trip and we spent the morning in Sawtell with the family for a Fathers Day breakfast then it was off down the highway to Belmont, the trip officially concluded at 4.00pm. It was a good 6 weeks with many interesting places visited with another place ticked off the bucket list, "the Tip, Cape York".

Now to start planning the next big trip.

Saturday 5th - Still moving

Today we continued to help Cindy & Chris move.

Friday 4th - Moving day and Touch Football

Today Cindy & Chris moved into their new house in central Sawtell. Before this we went and saw Tom play touch football for Sawtell against Wauchope. The boys ended up winning after being 6 all at full time. They went to drop off where they have 5 players for 2 minutes and then drop to 4, it went down to 3 players. Tom scored the winning try.

Monday 31st August - Wednesday 2nd September

We have spent the last few days just around Sawtell, nothing special, breakfast up the street and lunch at the pub, Tom has visited us each morning on his way to school.

Sunday 30th - Grandfinal Day

Today was Luke & Tom's Soccer Grandfinal, it was a great game with the boys winning in a penalty shootout. It was 2 all at the end of normal time and they won the shootout 4-2.  Luke scored the first goal for Sawtell and they both scored a goal in the shootout.

A very stressful morning for Pop & Gra.

Saturday 29th - The old blokes birthday

Today I spent a wonderful day with Chris and the family. Chris and I started the day with breakfast at Zest in the Sawty Main Street.

We took Max down to the rock pools in the afternoon and counted fish and starfish.

We finished the day at the Sawty Pub for tea, a great way to celebrate my birthday.
