Friday 7th -Weipa

Today was a short trip to Weipa only 146km, the road was pretty good for most of the way, the picture below is typical of what we have been driving through.

When we where near Weipa we came across a set of traffic lights with boom gates to allow the Bauxite trucks pass. Then we came across the port where they where loading ships.

Tomorrow we have booked a Mine tour in the morning and on Sunday the boys have booked a fishing trip.
