We where warned to put our rubbish away as there are bush brumbies that come in at night and raid your rubbish, didn't expect to see this when I got up.
This is what the trip is about, venturing to the northern most tip of Australia.
We headed north along a shortcut track before rejoining the main road (track) and stopping of at the "Croc Tent" which is a souvenir shop in the middle of nowhere, we all probably spent more than we should have.
It has a couple of guards for the night.
We then headed north towards Punsand Bay which we where told was very nice with pristine white sandy Beaches that you cannot swim at because of the crocodile. It has a resort and caravan park.
It was then off to the Tip along the Punsand Track which Cam said was better in places than the Old Telegraph Track, somewhere along this track I damaged a front tyre which will require repairing or worst case replacement. Worst case happened with tyre being replaced, not to bad at only $250 a lot cheaper than the Duelers I just had fitted.
The tip will be a separate post.
Leaving the tip we ventured to Sommerset where we saw some chaps trying to get coconuts without much success. A sign says it is only 900 meters to the island if you where stupid enough to try and beat the crocodiles.
When we got back to the van we had lost some lighting and it progressively diminished to nothing during the evening, I will have to sort it out tomorrow.
